JOB POSTING: Retail Store Supervisor

Location: Powell River, BC

Salary: CDN $25/hr for 30 to 40 hours a week

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Job requirements: -

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to 2 years

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers
• Assign daily duties and prepare work schedules
• Authorize cheque payments and merchandise returns
• Assist customers and complete sales
• Resolve customer issues and manage supply shortages
• Maintain inventory levels and order merchandise as needed
• Prepare sales, inventory, and staffing reports
• Hire and train new sales staff

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast paced environment; Work under pressure; Combination of sitting, walking, standing for extended periods.
