Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct and oversee the daily operations of the retail store to achieve sales objectives and ensure excellent customer service.
• Supervise, schedule, assign duties to, train and coach retail sales staff to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and evaluating employees to support operational requirements.
• Determine product selection and inventory requirements for flour based on customer demand, seasonal trends and sales performance.
• Coordinate with the flour mill's production, warehouse and distribution teams to ensure the timely availability, replenishment and delivery of products.
• Develop and implement merchandising, pricing, sales and promotional strategies to increase revenue and enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, operating costs and market trends, and implement improvements to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain sales reports, inventory records, budgets and other operational and financial reports.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints and ensure a high standard of customer service while promoting the mill's products and services.
• Develop and implement store policies and procedures and ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized retail environment and identify opportunities to improve store operations, product presentation and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Post-secondary education is strongly preferred, and a minimum of one year of experience in the field is required.
