Responsibilities

Tasks

• Direct the planting of trees, gardens and lawns.
• Hire, supervise and schedule staff.
• Organize the planting of trees, gardens and lawns.
• Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
• Schedule events, programs and activities.
• Schedule work.
• Plan and direct grounds maintenance.
• Plan and estimate labour and materials.
• Organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
• Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Repair and maintain equipment.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
