Job description


The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials, including cross-border and multiple-stop deliveries. Duties include loading, unloading and securing cargo, conducting pre-trip, en route and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining required driving and cargo records, communicating with dispatch, reporting mechanical issues, and complying with all applicable transportation and safety regulations.

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually

Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Education

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Equivalent experience will also be considered.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1/A (AZ) Driver's Licence.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience in North America is required.
  • Need letters of experience from previous employers to verify experience.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and commercial driving practices.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible schedules, including long-haul trips when required.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
