Position Title: Nursery Supervisor

Number of positions: 1       

Terms of employment: Full-time; Permanent; Year- round work

Wages: $32.00 per hour

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursery staff engaged in day-to-day operations of the nursery, including watering, weeding, fertilizing plants, and monitoring insect and disease infestation etc. 
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate nursery activities. 
• Plan and estimate the materials and labor requirements for nursery operations.
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare progress reports.
• Hire staff and train workers in job duties and company policies.
• Ensure nursery safety procedures are followed.
• Perform general nursery duties as the staff supervised when required.

Skills requirement:

• Minimum 1-year nursery work experience required.
• English communication skills is required.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment which may be physically demanding.

Benefits:

Accommodation will be provided at $30/ week (if required). Transportation to workplace is also available, if required.
