Job description

Mann Machines and Hydraulics Ltd., located at 245 Advance Blvd., Brampton, ON, L6T 4J2, requires 2 Machinists on a Permanent and full-time basis.

Wage: $36 per hour

Hours: minimum of 30 hours or above per week.

Experience: Must have 2 years to less than 3 years’ experience as a Machinist.

Education: Secondary(high) school graduation certificate

JOB DUTIES

• Reading & interpreting of engineering drawings & blueprints
• Finalize the best sequence of machining as per the requirements of the work order.
• Precisely work out / observe dimensions and tolerances; measure and lay out work pieces.
• Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, planning, drilling, precision grinding, and other operations.
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and sub-assemblies.
• Check products for dimensional accuracy within specified tolerances and conformance to specifications with the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Train new recruits if any
• All other related tasks as may be required on the shop floor.
