We are seeking two reliable and experienced Insulation Installers to measure, prepare, cut, fit, and install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings. The work will be performed at various construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland, with a focus on quality workmanship, safety, accuracy, and timely project completion.

Position Description
Position: Insulation Installer
Type of employment: Full-Time; Permanent
No. of positions: 2
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

Job Responsibilities
• Read and Interpret drawings to determine the appropriate type of insulation required.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Install and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• Install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials.
• Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, mould or urea formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings when required.

Qualification & Requirements
• Completion of secondary school
• Completion of apprenticeship program or minimum 2- 3 years of relevant experience in trade
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work positively in a team environment
