Location: Unit 1 & 2, 2245 Midland Ave, Scarborough, ON M1P 4P9

Salary: $36.92 per hour for 32 to 40 hours per week

Job requirements:

Experience: 5 years or more

Job duties:

1) Be proficient in operating sewing machines of (i) single needle lockstitch, (ii) double needle lockstitch, (iii) coverstitch, (iv) bartacking, (v) buttonhole, (vi) buttoning, (vii) serger, and (viii) feller

2) Perform minor repairs and adjustments to sewing machines

3) Operate machines to join sections of garments and other articles into finished products on a production basis

4) Pay attention to detail and hand-eye coordination

5) Set in garment pieces such as sleeves, pockets, collars and others

6) Use sewing guides and tension devices
