Job Description: Food and Beverage Server

Employer: Athmandu Restaurant & Bar

Salary: $15.60 / Hour + Gratuities

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, present menus, describe daily specials, and make informed recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously to dining room tables.
• Check in with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and resolve any service issues immediately.
• Prepare and serve specialty drinks and desserts according to restaurant recipes.
• Present bills to customers, accept payments, and operate payment terminals.
• Clear, clean, and reset dining tables, chairs, and service stations continuously.
• Adhere strictly to provincial food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service guidelines.

Employment Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Previous food and beverage service experience preferred; training provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a busy restaurant environment.
