Job Description: Food and Beverage Server

Employer: Athmandu Restaurant & Bar

Location: Others NL, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Salary: $16.00 / Hour

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• Take food and beverage orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages to patrons in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Check in with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and resolve any service issues promptly.
• Prepare and present bills to patrons, accept payments, and operate payment processing terminals.
• Clear tables, clean and sanitize dining areas, and reset tables for incoming guests.
• Ensure full compliance with provincial liquor regulations and food safety standards.

Employment Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
• Previous food and beverage service experience preferred; training provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a busy restaurant environment.
