Dump Truck Driver

Minimum Education: No formal education is required

Experience: No experience is required as the employer will provide training.

Job Duties:

• Operate and drive truck-trailer as a team to transport goods and material to destinations.
• Monitor the condition of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Record cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information in log book.
• Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers.
• Ensure all the paperwork is filled up correctly.
• Drive Dump Trucks
• Perform minor roadside repairs.
• May Work as a part of two person team.

Requirements:

• Must have Class 1 OR equal Driver's License from any other province or country with air brake endorsement
  • Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
