STORE MANAGER - RETAIL

Position: 1

Job Location: Mobile Q, 1500 Cranbrook St N, Cranbrook, BC V1C 3S8

Wages: $42.00 hourly

Hours of Work: 30.00 to 40.00 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and assign duties
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold
• Implement price and credits policies
• Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Determine staffing requirements
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system and spreadsheet

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines and attention to detail
