From crispy dosas, aromatic curries, or freshly baked naan, dedicated to bringing you the genuine flavors and warm hospitality of India. We are based in Surrey, BC and take catering order too. We are looking for an ETHNIC COOK to join our team.

Wage: C$ 39/hour

NOC Job Title: Ethnic Cook (63200)

The qualified Ethnic Cooks will perform the following duties:

• Prepare and ethnic Indian dishes such as variety of chicken, goat, vegetarian etc.
• Maintain stock required to make dishes.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation/hygiene regulations
• Plan menus and determine size of food portions.
• Organize and manage buffets and catering
• Clean up station and store leftover food in appropriate conditions
• Estimate food requirements and cost.
• Train staff in preparation of food / dishes.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas & supervise kitchen staff and helpers and assist them when needed.
• Keep a track of the food stocks and other supplies, and maintain inventory according to avoid any disruptions in service
• Keep in mind all safety precautions while dealing with appliances in kitchen.  
• Ensure that food safety procedures are followed as instructed in company's Standard Operating Procedures

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods and ability to work in kitchen for extended hours.
