Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, caring, and responsible Home Support Worker to provide personal care and assistance in a private home. The successful candidate will help with daily activities, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and maintaining a comfortable and safe living environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide bedside and personal care.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Support regular exercise, including walking.
- Assist with feeding and mealtimes.
- Wash, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
- Mend clothing and household linens as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Cook meals and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Ability to communicate in English.

Work Environment

Non-smoking household.

Work must be performed on-site at the employer's residence in Surrey, BC.
