Coriander Green has an immediate opening for Cook at their Oakville, Ontario Location.

Responsibilities as a Cook:

# Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
# Prepare and cook special meals for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
# Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are maintained.
# Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
# Assist in training kitchen helpers and other staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety procedures.
# Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
# Assist in ordering and receiving food supplies and kitchen equipment.
# Clean kitchen and work areas and maintain sanitary conditions.
# Follow established recipes and restaurant procedures in the preparation of menu items.

Requirements:

# Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
# 1 year or more of experience as a cook
# Must be able to lift 25 lbs
# Friendly and outgoing
# Flexible schedule

Terms of employment:

# Permanent, Full time (30 hours/week)
# Salary: $37.00 Per Hour
# Location: 342 Church St, Oakville, ON L6J 1P1, Canada
