Job Description:

• Assist with site preparation, grading, backfilling, and general construction activities.
• Dig trenches, foundations, drainage systems, and other required excavations.
• Operate different excavator attachments as required for the job.
• Load, move, and place soil, gravel, concrete debris, and other materials.
• Prepare and level work areas before framing and other construction activities begin.

• Work carefully around workers, buildings, vehicles, and underground utilities.

• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including greasing and cleaning.
• Follow all applicable workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.
• Performing excavation around existing structures while following required safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating excavators or other heavy construction equipment is required or considered an asset, depending on the position.
• Valid forklift operator certification/Licence is required, where applicable.
• Experience /Training: Completion of an industrial Couse in heavy equipment operation or a minimum of six months experience in the same field.
