Education: Completion of a post-secondary education program of 2 – 3 years in business, supply chain, production or manufacturing management and related
Experience: Several years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
Language: English
Job Description:
- Plan, assign, and review day-to-day operations, establishing clear work schedules and procedures
- Lead and train operations staff on core duties, safety standards, and company policies
- Oversee shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, purchasing, production coordination, and crew dispatching
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage purchasing, deliveries and resolve supply chain issues
- Collaborate with other internal business units to streamline communication and workflow
- Troubleshoot daily operational issues, address complaints, and implement corrective measures to boost efficiency
- Ensure all operations strictly adhere to corporate policies, security protocols, and safety regulations
- Oversee the uptime of computer systems and machinery, arranging for repairs and maintenance as required
- Monitor inventory needs and order necessary tools, supplies, and operational materials
- Compile and submit regular performance, status and inventory reports to management
