Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Salary: $38.75/hour

Hours: 40 hrs/week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Shifts: Morning, Weekend

Education: Secondary school

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years

Work setting: Urban area.

Budgetary responsibility: $100,001 - $500,000

Tasks:

Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits; Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies; Evaluate daily operations; Monitor revenues to determine labour cost; Set staff work schedules; Train staff; Conduct performance reviews; Organize and maintain inventory; Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies; Participate in marketing plans and implementation; Address customers' complaints or concerns

Supervision: 3-4 people; 5-10 people.

Certificates: Food Safety Certificate. Public transportation is available.

Work conditions: Repetitive tasks; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods
