Position: Cold Dish & Pastry Cook

Hours: 40 hours per week
Hourly Wage: CAD 18.00

We are seeking a motivated Cold Dish & Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist in preparing cold dishes, appetizers, and pastries according to the Company’s standardized recipes and quality requirements. This position is suitable for candidates with basic culinary experience, an interest in Chinese cuisine, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills.

The Company provides structured training, standardized operating procedures, and practical guidance to help employees adapt to the kitchen environment, improve their culinary techniques, and develop their professional capabilities.

Duties

• Prepare cold dishes, appetizers, and pastries according to standardized recipes and presentation requirements.

• Participate in company-provided training to learn Chinese culinary techniques, product standards, and kitchen procedures.

• Follow food safety and sanitation requirements for cold food preparation, handling, and storage.

• Assist with ingredient preparation, inventory checks, and reporting stock shortages.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure consistent product quality.
