Private household at 7251 Montana Road, Richmond, BC, Canada V7C 4K2 is looking for a Home Child Care Provider. Please see the following employment information.

Job Duties:

1. Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for children.
2. May Perform light housekeeping tasks upon request.
3. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
4. Help children acquire good eating, clothing, bathing, and toileting habits by guiding and assisting them.
5. Organize age-appropriate educational activities such as games, crafts, telling or reading tales, teaching songs, and participating in art, music, and physical exercise.
6. Oversee the meals, play, and relaxation activities of children.
7. Take children to and from school and appointments.
8. Take care of children's emotional and psychological well-being, as well as their social development.
9. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
10. Keep up-to-date records of children’s development, routines, and interests.

Job Summary:

1. Salary: $20 per hour, 30 hours per week
2. Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent-free
3. Work Location: Must work in employer's/client’s home
4. Employment Expected to Start on: As Soon As Possible

Requirements:

1. Completion of Secondary (High) School education is required
2. Previous experience in the related field and/or previous full-time training in the related field is required.
3. First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate would be an asset
4. Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
