Job description


We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Online Chat Support Agent to provide real-time support to customers via live chat platforms. In this role, you will respond to inquiries, resolve technical and non-technical issues, and deliver prompt, professional assistance—all in an online environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist with troubleshooting basic technical issues

  • Provide product and service information to customers

  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary

  • Document interactions accurately in the support system

  • Maintain a positive, helpful, and professional tone at all times

  • Follow company guidelines and communication standards

  • Meet or exceed response time and customer satisfaction targets

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)

  • Strong written communication and typing skills

  • Basic computer and internet troubleshooting knowledge

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple chats simultaneously

  • Customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities

  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace

  • Prior experience in customer service or online support is a plus
