Provide case management and return to work services for clients involved in vocational rehabilitation programs.
Willing to learn psychometric testing under supervision.
Interview clients, prepare case histories and analyse problems
Have a solid knowledge of disability management practices Write high-quality professional reports.
Provide counselling services to clients.
Participating in fundraising activities
Prepare assessment, progress and follow up reports
Maintain professional designation including abiding by professional ethics and ensuring continuing education credits are obtained.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
Relevant college diploma or undergraduate degree such as in Psychology, Sociology, Occupational Therapy, Career Development, Social Services, Physiotherapy, Vocational Rehabilitation, Kinesiology or a combination of relevant experience and education is an asset .
Accreditation (or willingness to pursue) in a relevant field such as Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Return to Work Coordinator (CRTWC), Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Vocational rehabilitation Professional (CVRP), Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP), Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CCRC), Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC), Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE).
Maintain a safe and secure home-based office with separate phone line access to a vehicle Professional liability insurance Proficiency in various languages an asset (English, Hebrew, French, Spanish)
