Languages: English
Education: No Degree, Certificate or Diploma
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Safety glasses/googles, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat
Work conditions and physical capabilitites: Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye coordination, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, large workload, work under pressure, overtime required, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, manual dexterity, physical demanding, standing for extended periods.
Work location information: Various locations, rural area
Work site environment: Dangerous, at heights, noisy, dusty
Personal suitability: dependability, judgment, flexibility, team player, reliability
Additional Skills: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, erect and install scaffoldings, falsework and other working platforms.

Work Setting: Industrial, residential, commercial
Specific Skills: Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets, fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and cofferred ceilings, tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints, position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners, fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife, smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
